This course explores how lesbian identity has been reflected infiction over the past century from Radclyffe Hall to Sarah Waters. We will read a range of writing with lesbian themes and consider how changing attitudes have shaped the work of lesbian authors. Please bring a copy of Radclyffe Hall's The Well of Loneliness to the first meeting.
